My new favorite CD is, hands down, Cheek to Cheek by Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett.  Yes, you heard me right!  The two sing classic jazz standards in voices that compliment each other so well you forget there is a 60 plus year age difference between the two.  The collaboration compiles songs from the great American songbook, including tunes written or co-written by Irving Berlin, Duke Ellington and Jimmy Van Heusen, among others.

My husband likes to joke that I am a closeted jazz singer because I could listen to jazz for hours and love to sing along in my best jazz singer voice.  I could listen to this playlist on replay for hours.  A dream would be to see Tony and Gaga at Radio City Music Hall next June since I am sure they are even more incredible with a live orchestra.
