Ever since I was a little girl, I have been enamored with The British Royal Family. I remember watching Princess Diana and Prince Charles get married and then being excited to watch the adventures of Will and Harry over the years, feeling like I grew up with them. I loved Princess Diana and was devastated by her untimely death.  Two years ago in April, I literally had a sleepover at my Mom’s house in order to watch Will and Kate get married! We woke up at 2:30 a.m., put on our best hats, made tea and had the scones and crumpets that my husband bought us from a British tea shop.  My sister even brought over my little 8 month old Goddaughter so she could be part of the Royal Wedding festivities. It was one of the best days ever!  Some may never understand a fascination with the royal family and are opposed to what they stand for, but for me and the millions of others that love them, today when that birth announcement was displayed at Buckingham Palace, we felt part of an exciting moment in history!
