I remember the first time I saw Francis Ford Coppola’s movie, “The Outsiders” (based on the amazing book by S.E. Hinton); it was one of the best things I had ever seen – and I still love to watch it even now.  The cast was a who’s who of young Hollywood, and forever established Ponyboy, Johnny, Dally and Soda Pop as 80’s teenage heartthrobs. Many of you that went to school when I did probably remember being so excited choosing Robert Frost’s “Stay Gold” as the poem you memorized,  read aloud and analyzed in English class! Just take a look at the cast picture below..unbelievable. Stay gold, Ponyboy!
