Yesterday we saw Woody Allen’s new movie, Blue Jasmine, starring Cate Blanchett.  Cate has long been one of my favorite actresses of all time and her performance in this movie is one of the most brilliant and amazing things I have seen in years.  She is not only our modern day Bette Davis or Katherine Hepburn, she also has an eclectic style sense.  She always seems to maintain a perfect balance of old hollywood glamour with fashion forward modernity.
