Baseball, Red Sox, Top 10

TOP 10 OBSERVATIONS FROM FENWAY

Thanks to my Dad, we were lucky enough to spend a late summer day this past Saturday watching the Red Sox play the Yankees at the oldest major league baseball park in the country. Today I share my top 10 observations from Fenway – a place where people have a style all their own.

  1. Gee, I didn’t know parachute pants were still in style…wait, they’re not.  Wow, I wonder who manufactured those parachute pants because they have lasted since 1984.
  2. How does an Italian ice cost $8.50?
  3. Since when did bachelorette parties start their day at fenway, dressed in bad matching shirts?
  4. Thank God my husband did not propose to me on a jumbo tron!
  5. They still sell grape flavored Fanta?
  6. Why would you need to hold a sign that reads “I like baseball” at a baseball game?
  7. So many uses of the words “dude” and “wicked” in one 3 hour period…Guinness Book should be here since this must be a record.
  8. I have never seen an infant at a ball game before. It’s kinda loud here for him. Wicked loud.
  9. How do so many women who graduated in 1979 still find someone to cut that feathered hair style?
  10. What you see is what you get…you’ll always know where you stand with Boston fans.
