Yesterday I stopped by the Lemon Frog shop in Echo Park to check out the latest finds that owner Micky has found. She has her store stocked full of the greatest vintage looks. At this store you can get shoes, clothes and lots of accessories. There are so many stylish shoes like platform sandals, an array of colorful pumps and lots of boots to choose from. The accessories range from costume jewelry to purses (almost every kind of purse you can think of) , hats and sunglasses. There is so much to look at when you walk in here. The space looks tiny because there is only enough room for you to walk and while you’re there you’ll notice the ”no strollers allowed” sign posted on the door so you will have more shopping room for all the unique finds. And while you’re there you’ll get inspired by the owners displays, she dresses up her window display and the clothes that are on the walls with accessories.
The dresses in here come in variety of fabrics and textiles. You can buy something classic and solid colored or something fun and patterned. The dress prices vary because the owner said she alters some pieces so that they fit better. This is such a good thing because I always end up buying something with the thought that I am going to alter it myself but it never happens. You can purchase dresses from the 60’s , 70’s and 80’s here. Most of the sizes are on the small and medium side but they are great for those nights that you want to stand out and just make the piece your own. Don’t you sometimes get tired of always wearing the same looks that everyone else is wearing? I know I do, I like to fluctuate or try to incorporate a vintage piece into my style, even if its just a purse some days.

So if you’re in the Los Angeles area and love vintage clothes you will definitly want to stop by even if its just to check out the sale racks, there are so many good buys in here if you have the time to look. I purchased this fringey bag for only $10 its my new summer bag that will just have to go with everything.
