I completely adore almost everything Modcloth has on their site and they are making it easy to win a $500 gift certificate. Here’s the catch, Modcloth wants all the young ladies who wear and adore their clothes to create a two-minute video short (via You Tube) showing off your Modcloth clothes and the Modcloth brand. The video can be about anything you want as long as you incorporate the Modcloth brand and mention it. This gives all the fashionista’s a way to be creative while being fashionable all at the same time. And of course they have great prizes to offer! The first place winner will recieve a $500 gift certificate, the second place winner will win the Ctrl+Alt+Del Necklace and the Telegraph Hill Laptop Bag (which is really cute!) third prize winner will enjoy just the Telegraph Hill Laptop Bag. So if you’re creative and already have tons of Youtube videos posted of your self than this should be a cinch! But now what to wear?
Modcloth has tons of adoreable dresses on their new arrivals page. I want most of them but I know that I can only buy one at a time with the budget I’m living on. So here are my faves, these would be great summer picks to show off in your video since the summer heat has settled in.
First I absolutely adore this Smile and Wink Dress its so dreamy looking and perfect for those summer night dates. It can be easliy worn with flats and dressed up with the right accessories.
Second I love That Which we Call a Dress, its covered in a floral print and embodies the simple spaghetti strap dresses of the 70’s and 80’s. Its perfect for a summer BBQ or for a day out shopping.
My third favorite is the Sidestroke Dress, this lovely wrap dress is presentable for work paired with heels or add some flats and you’re ready for a day party.
