Out of Left Field – Old Navy for Fall

When’s the last time you stepped into Old Navy? Those were the thoughts of Nitrolicious blogger, Wendy Lam, too, when she posted these pictures from Old Navy’s fall collection. Now, I’ll admit, I’ve been drawn into the superstore two or three times in the last few years for their big, one-weekend-only savings specials, like the “party cardis” for $15.00 – I’m always in need of a cardigan, and I often find that a $15.00 cardigan looks the same as a $150.00 cardigan. When it comes to shopping for a chic wardrobe, though, let’s face it – Old Navy is the last place on your list. It used to be cool to shop there, when things like “tech vests” were all the rage. But now, the only thing that might actually draw you in is a bathing suit cover-up.

Well, it looks like the super-cheap store is stepping up their game, which is awesome since it is, well, super-cheap. Check out some of these looks Wendy posted on Nitrolicious:

 

Not bad for a store that features an average price range of $15.00 to $40.oo, right? I love the biker sweater vest and the fur vest, and I will definitely be getting the cute plaid skirt – which would actually look awesome with the fur vest. I’m also thinking I’ll be picking up the satchel, and the boots are a great idea if you don’t have anything similar in your wardrobe already.
