Show your fashionista side at home with these easy to make fashion magnets!  They’re so pretty and you can personalize them any which way you want.  Decorate your fridge, your file cabinet or give them to a friend as a gift. For whatever reason you make these you will be sure to get many compliments on them.

Everything you will need

To get started all you will need is: some tacky glue, some glass marble gems, magnets, a hot glue gun and of course a picture of whatever you want your magnet to have on it. I always go through magazines or old books and cut out whatever grabs my attention. Most of the time its pictures from old Vogue issues that I use. When you have all of your stuff  ready make sure you cut out your picture the size of the glass gem, because you will be gluing your picture to it. So once I cut out my magazine picture I put some glue on the flat side of the glass gem and rub the glue around with my finger and then gently press the picture onto it.

Once thats done and your hot glue gun is ready for you, grab a magnet and put some hot glue on it and stick it to the back of your glass gem.  OHH- be sure you test the magnet first before gluing so that you dont glue the wrong side and end up with a magnet that rejects all metal surfaces!

Next comes the fun part! You get to display these anywhere and you’re going to like yours so much that you will want to make tons of them! I have been giving them away as gifts. Another cool thing  you can doto add more flair to yours is glue some sequins or feathers along the edges! The great thing about this project is that its very inexpensive, the package of magnets was $1.99 for 10, the glass gems are $2.99 for 12 and small crafty glue guns run about $9.99 if you don’t already have one! Then all you have to do is cut out pictures that you like and start gluing. Never be afraid to get a little crafty and show off your personality at home!
