Joanna’s Wardrobe Diary
I can only wish I was as fashionable as Harper Bazaar’s Joanna Hillman. I’ve seen a few pieces highlighting the Fashion Market Editor – but it’s not until her recent 30 day Wardrobe diary segment on the Harpers Bazaar website that I am noticing her contribution to the Fashion scene. I love how she perfectly mixes highs with lows (one of the reason I love, love Monica Rose). My favorite to date is her pairing of Kurt Geiger boots and Zara pants.
Homako Love
This past weekend, my favorite independent designer event went down in Downtown LA – UniqueLA! Whenever I leave UniqueLA – I leave with a new sense of creativity and a much thinner wallet. I never mind spending a little more on certain items there because I know how well made they are and I like to support all of our local designers!
A Very Happy Friday Indeed
After coming back from a vacation, a nice weekend with not much going on is exactly what’s needed. Well, I lied – I have an eyelash appointment tomorrow morning, a quick Bar Method workout mid-day, and a Wedding in the evening but on Sunday – I’m as free as a bird!

Blogger Spotlight: Karla’s Closet
Every once in a while I stumble upon a fashion blogger that just blows me away- that’s Karla of Karla’s Closet. She exudes feminine charm, and elegance while perfectly pairing old with new. You’ll droll over her brand new Giuseppe Zanotti’s or fawn over her perfect vintage accessories and goodwill finds. It seems these days there are tons of fashion blogs with page after page of a young woman with her daily wearings and it’s hard to not become lost in the crowd. Karla really sets herself apart; a real breath of fresh air. She will fast become one of my go-to’s when I need a little inspiration or feel I have nothing to wear with a full closet. Every one of her photos belongs in an editorial spread. StylelikeU calls her “Holly Golightly in Alaia wedges”, and rightfully so! See for yourself…
